Ukraine launches talks on FTA with Israel

The Economic Development and Trade Ministry launches negotiations on signing of the agreement on free trade area with Israel.

Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius said this at the Cabinet's meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"In a few months we will sign a free trade agreement [with Canada]. Israel will become the next country for the negotiations on free trade area," he said.

As a reminder, on July 27, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed by phone the agreement on free trade area between two countries.
