Ukraine's foreign exchange reserves increase to $10.4 billion

In July, the foreign exchange reserves of Ukraine increased by 112 million dollars - up to 10.4 billion dollars.

Deputy Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Oleh Chury said this at a press briefing on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Over the past month our reserves increased by 112 million dollars. This amount does not include the second tranche of the IMF," he said.

According to him, the National Bank has bought USD 163 million on the interbank market.

"We believe that we will buy the currency in the future for accumulation of reserves," he said.
