Ukraine's GDP may grow by 2.7% - ICU forecast

The gross domestic product of Ukraine in 2016 may grow by 2.7%.

This is stated in the macroeconomic forecast for 2015-2025, published by ICU investment group, available to Ukrinform.

"The basic ICU macroeconomics forecast provides the following dynamics: the decline in real GDP by 13% in 2015 will be followed by a recovery and growth at the level of 2.7% in 2016 and subsequent annual increase by 2% within 2017-2025. The probability of such a scenario is 50%," Oleksander Valchyshen, the head of ICU's Research Department, Member of Investment Committee, said.

According to him, the most optimistic real GDP dynamics forecast of annual growth by 8% within 2017-2025 has low probability (5%).
