Ukrainian dairy exports to EU may start this year

Ukraine could start to export dairy products to the EU by the end of 2015.

Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko said this within the Ukrainian-German Economic Forum in Berlin, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"We want to open up the EU market for the supplies of our dairy products this year as ten companies are at the stage of completion of negotiations now," Pavlenko said.

The Minister also said noted that Ukrainian dairy companies had received approval to supply their products to China, the largest partner among the Asian countries.

According to Pavlenko, Ukrainian products are now exported to over 100 countries worldwide.
